ADAA PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE NEWS
Please note that due to the Coronavirus outbreak and global health concerns ADAA has postponed our 2020 professional conference (which was to be held in San Antonio, Texas from March 19-22) to our 2021 Boston event (March 18-21).
ADAA’s annual conferences lead the way in bringing together a multidisciplinary community of basic and clinical researchers and clinicians with diverse backgrounds in psychiatry, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, neuroscience, and more. ADAA sponsors the only conference (which offers more than 140 sessions during four days of learning and networking) focusing exclusively on the science and treatment of anxiety and depression, including but not limited to generalized anxiety disorder, OCD, PTSD, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, phobias, depression, and related disorders in children and adults. Much of the content shared at ADAA’s conferences is also then shared with our public community through the ADAA website, blog posts, webinars, videos and more.
The postponment of ADAA’s annual conference is not only very disappointing for our member community and the more than 1,000 registrants, but also has devastating financial implications for ADAA.
We are a strong organization and are committed to continuing to provide evidence-based cutting edge and innovative treatment and research information to our communities. Your support at this critical time helps ensure that ADAA can continue to be your trusted resource for anxiety and depression information. Thank you.
